Members are welcome to join Impact 100 Jersey Coast at any time of the year but please be aware that members joining after March 15, 2020, will be part of the 2021 membership class.

Organizations often actively seek opportunities to recognize and develop the talent of their high-performing, high-potential employees. Your employer may be willing to cover the cost of annual membership because they realize that Impact 100 Jersey Coast offers a unique and highly effective development opportunity.

Opportunities to get involved

Involved members reap the benefits of working alongside women of varying talents, skills and backgrounds in an environment created by a group of highly capable women with a singular goal—to expand our impact in our local community.

Impact JC encourages (but does not require) all women to become involved in the process of selecting our grantees and/or managing our organization.  In an all-volunteer organization with 440 members and growing, there are wide-ranging opportunities to contribute:


MEMBERSHIP TEAM

  • Recruit new members.
    Recommend friends who might be interested in joining as a member, host or encourage a fellow member to host an information session, or provide administrative support for the recruitment process, such as sending invitations or preparing presentation materials.
  • Engage current members.
    Connect with members to help ensure they feel positive about their involvement, enjoy their experience, and consider continuing their membership in years to come.

GRANTS TEAM

  • Lead or join a Focus Area Committee.
    Review and evaluate submitted grant proposals. Assess applications, select semifinalists, conduct site visits, and select finalists to be voted on by membership. Training provided.

MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS TEAM

  • Raise awareness and support with membership and the public.
    Spread the word to women in your community by promoting Impact 100 Jersey Coast via email and social media. Assist with promotion, press, social media, event planning, sponsor outreach, graphic design, or photography.

SPONSORSHIP TEAM

  • Raise awareness and support of local community partners.
    Establish and maintain relationships with organizations that provide cash donations and/or services to support our operations and events.

OPERATIONS TEAM

  • Help our organization run efficiently.
    Offer accounting, legal, or technology support. Coordinate our volunteer effort by helping members find roles that match their interests and talents.

We also ask that all members attend and vote at our annual general membership meeting in November and provide ongoing feedback on your experience as a member.
