ELIGIBILITY QUESTIONS

Is your organization tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code? *
Does your proposed project serve solely the residents of, Monmouth County, New Jersey? *
Has your organization been in operation for a minimum of 36 months prior to applying for the grant? (Note: This requirement does NOT apply to any non-lead organizations in a Collaboration.) *
Do you have a minimum annual operating budget of $100,000? (Note: The operating budget is a projection of Income and Expenses for the organization’s full fiscal year. Also, note that this budget requirement does NOT apply to any non-lead organizations in a Collaboration.) *
Do you (and, if applicable, any non-lead organizations in a Collaboration) possess two years of independently-prepared financial statements (audit or review)? *
Is your proposed project a new program, an expansion of an existing program, or a new or expanded collaboration? (NOTE: Impact funds specific, clearly defined projects with clear goals that can be measured and achieved within 24 months, as opposed to just funding current/continuing programs and operations.) *
Is your total project budget either equal to or greater than the amount of the grant funds? *
Will you expend the full amount of the grant within 24 months and solely in Monmouth County? *
Is the proposed project a collaboration with another nonprofit? *

IMPACT 100 JERSEY COAST WILL NOT PROVIDE GRANTS FOR:

  • Debt reduction or operational deficits
  • General operating expenses or overhead (unless a realistic, necessary component of a project budget)
  • Grants to individuals
  • Endowment funding
  • Interim or bridge funding
  • Partisan, legislative, or political activity
  • Projects of individual churches, synagogues, or other bodies of worship. These projects will not be funded unless a separate tax-exempt entity exists for receiving Impact funds that is not under the umbrella of the church, synagogue, or other body of worship
  • Faith-based projects/programs which require participation in activities of a particular faith, denomination, or religion in order to benefit from the project or program
  • Capital improvements or renovations to property for the grant project where the organization does not own or have at least a five-year lease
